Summer
Soccer Camp for Boys Ages 8 to 15 Scheduled July 7-10
Updated July 2, 2008
Boys ages 8 to 15 are invited to participate in
the second Scorpion Soccer Summer Camp
July 7-10 at Scorpion Field.
A camp for younger boys was held in June.
Scorpion head men's soccer coach Dan Balaguero, assistant coach Andy Ravanello, and Scorpion soccer players will conduct the camp for youth interested in improving their soccer skills. All participants will receive a Scorpion Soccer Camp T-shirt.
This program prepares children for organized soccer in a fun, fast-paced, non-threatening learning environment where skill development activities and games will help them improve their skills in game-like situations. Training will be age appropriate and there will be "Snack & Joke Time" each day.
For a registration form, click here.
The boys' camp will focus on skill work, receiving, passing, shooting, individual and small sided attacking (1 on 1 and 2 on 2), and individual and small sided defending (1 on 1 and 2 on 2). There will be scrimmages at the end of each day.
The camp will run from 5-8 p.m. Monday to Thursday at Scorpion Field. Cost of the camp is $125.
Checks should be made payable to UTB/TSC men's soccer.
