Fall 2007 Director of Athletics Honor Roll Announced

Twenty-nine student-athletes have been named to Scorpion Athletics Academic Honor Roll for achieving grade point averages of 3.0 or higher for the fall 2007 semester, with the women's volleyball team earning the Team Academic Honor Roll Award.

To be recognized on the honor roll, student-athletes, student-managers, student-coaches, or student-trainers, must earn a minimum of a 3.0 GPA during the indicated semester. The team honor roll recognizes the varsity team with the highest GPA during the previous semester.

The women's volleyball team had the highest GPA in the fall 2007 semester.

“By giving recognition to student-athletes in the form of an honor roll, our student-athletes will have an extra opportunity to showcase their abilities and gain personal recognition," Scorpion Director of Athletics Dan Huntley said. "I hope that all of our student-athletes will strive to be recognized on this honor roll in the future and that it builds some competition between our individual teams."
